The tester is commonly used as a digital multi-meter to test subscriber telephone connectivity and line parameters. It is suitable for tier-1 ADSL applications.

The ADSL2+ Tester provides upstream and downstream rate measurement, error count, digital multi meter (DMM) test functions, modem simulation, and PING and Trace testing.
