We are a consultancy firm in area of renewable energy and energy efficiency. We are implementing a waste heat recovery system for an automobile company in Haryana.
There are 4 applications of concern: Genset, Ovens, Furnaces and Boiler.

A) We want to use the heat from genset exhaust in ovens. Please find attached the doc showing how we want the system to be. The genset's rating 1935 KVA, runs 20-24 hours/day, consumes 307 litres/hr diesel, exhaust temp. 400-490 deg C, exhaust flow rate of 388 cubic mtr/min and exhaust pressure of 200mm WC. This is to reduce the diesel consumption in the burners being used in the ovens. The air being heated in the oven burners is working in a closed cycle.

We want heat exchangers to utilize exhaust heat from furnaces and boiler to pre-heat the input air to their burners for combustion.

B) There are 2 Furnaces consuming 104 liters/hr and 156 liters/hr HSD, running 16 hours. Exhaust temp between 350-400 deg C.

C) Boiler consuming 1000 liters/day diesel in summers and 2200 liters/day in winters. Exhaust temp between 225 deg C., running 16 hours.
