Kamala silk centre is a leading manufacturer and exporter of a fine range of silks including matka silk. One of the most popular and used silk types, matka silk is 100% silk. Matka silk can be distinguished from other silk fabrics in the sense that the yarn in the warp is general silk yarn while the yarn in the weft is received from cocoons. The cocoons are cut open when the moths come out of it. After the moths have laid eggs they are mashed to death. Matka silk made garments are also very soft to wear and provide the wearer a high level of comfort.
