Eligibility:

1. All applicants must have a minimum of 5 years experience + Technical qualification like Diploma / ITI etc.

2. IELTS 5 Band for Skilled workers & 7 Band for Nurses, Engineers, Doctors & professionals

3. Skill assessment may be required by VETASSESS.

Other points:

1. Contract – usually 2 to 4 years and there are chances of getting Permanent Residency for few categories.

2. The minimum gross wage payable is $47500 (1st July 2010) per annum plus 9% superannuation contribution based on 38 hours per week plus overtime, at normal rates (at least) plus any other benefits provided. Other benefits will be as per the employers policy.
