CPR's main purpose is to resuscitate and maintain a flow of oxygenated blood to the brain and the heart, thereby delaying tissue death and extending the brief window of opportunity for a successful first aid in emergency situation, including heart attack or near drowning, in which someone's breathing or heart beat has stopped. Ensure the casualty's airway is clear and un-obstructed. Operating Instructions: ??? Tilt the head back to open the airway using the fingers of the second hand to give a chin lift. ??? Unfold the protective sheet. ??? Place the red part of the airway into the casualty's mouth. ??? Pinch casualty's nose together (refer the red arrow marked in the CPR sheet) through the protective sheet ??? Start mouth to mouth resuscitation. ??? Blow into the casualty's lungs until casualty's chest rises then remove your mouth, release casualty's nose and watch casualty's chest fall. ??? Move immediately to 30 chest compressions ??? Remove the CPR sheet and dispose in the identified location.
